'Charting the Course'
is an education
proposal
that encourages
more whole brain
thinking,
the reliance
on
interhemispheric
thinking,
which brings
together
dominant
left-
and
right-brained
thinkers, in a
closed, holistic
learning network.

The author of this
website has written
in her book, Holistic
Living: Tips for
Youth, how
people along the
autism spectrum are
naturally more
right-brained,
while "neurotypical"
people, tend to, from a young age, become dominant
left-brained
thinkers, with the exception that both
character-types
access interhemispheric, and graduated, thought.

The 'Charting the Course' education proposal
shares a vision for a school system that will help all character-types, including people who are dominant left-brained thinkers, who think more linearly, and who are dominant right-brained thinkers, who think more by association, in part by bringing them together into one classroom.

The proposal is also for a single, closed, holistic system, which interweaves the modern education system with holistic, closed systems of the world.

Seeing the Cup Half Full

Congress in its negotiations over budget talks and upcoming talks about both the national and international agenda, needs to not only come together the way customers of Starbucks have pushed them to do in the showdown over fiscal cliff talks, but they need to stay positive, seeing the cup half full, working together as one, as a part of the recovery process.

Members of Congress can achieve this by being constructive. As a result, everyone will have their guard down and be focusing on eachother's strengths, not the negatives. Instead of focusing on perceived negatives, what is in common and shared ought to be used to create practical persuasion that should be taken advantage of by parties to direct talks, and all members should contribute in some way to direct talks.

A natural coming together will unfold.

Leaders, and every day people, too, when negotiating issues, however shouldn't use judgment to negotiate, they should reserve judgment and use observation. From observation comes middle ground and foresight, and so solutions.

Observation is key to moving dialogue along in order to form consensus. Alternatively,  judgment can easily become a means to antagonistic feelings, since when we judge we close our hearts to the whole, as a flap or door covers our heart and our eye, or wisdom. It's long overdue we observe and withhold judgment.

People should, as well, stop viewing each other on opposite sides, and instead come together as one, observing how they are the same, even with all of their apparent differences.

Don't fault each other but lift each other up, is the motto, and based on the other person's strengths: This ought to be the way of the future.

It's the way of the past. It's a strong part of our heritage. It's how the Founding Fathers managed to work together and see eye to eye, being lifted up by the fruits of their forthright labor.

Rather than put peers down, or admonish them for their opinions, members of Congress should only uplift one another by way of consensus, making sense of things instead of a mockery of them, remaining positive, and a part of 'one force for good.'

There are the universals, where things overlap, that exist between all parties, that can allow members of Congress to form together as one team, still with differing viewpoints, but now minus polarity that obstructs. The barriers to progress will come down as polarity transforms to unison or harmony, and people see what their commonalities are.

In nature, polar realms ultimately comprise a part of nature's wondrous unity, and its harmony. Political relations are but reflections of the workings of nature. Congress should come together harmoniously, working together side-by-side, in the spirit of Oneness, forming one team of individuals.

Eventually, people will see eye to eye as they focus on what they have in common, which is like seeing the cup half full, observing truth and finding it's a reinforcement, a reward.
